We are building a digital version of a Tudor warship based on our knowledge of how the Mary Rose was constructed.
Initially working with Julian Baum of Take 27 we are now using Sketchup to interpret the construction and sinking of this fascinating ship.
Andrew started work on the Mary Rose in 1977, working with Margaret Rule and Alexander McKee for the Mary Rose (1967) Committee.
Andrew supervised the underwater survey of the hull, providing the survey to the engineers who designed the lifting cradle.
A monograph describing the hull was written for the Mary Rose Trust which was used as the basis to construct a wooden display model of the ship.
